This workshop is for the purpose of receiving public comment concerning the possibility of shifting from a
system of quarterly preneed remittances, to a system of annual preneed remittances.

THE INCREASE OF FINGERPRINTING FEES
Effective July 1, 2008, the fee for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to process fingerprints and conduct criminal background checks has been increased from $57.25 to $58.25. The fee increase is due to the Legislature’s decision to increase the fee for FDLE criminal history checks.
AVISO IMPORTANTE PARA SOLICITANTES DE LICENCIAS
Asegúrese de dedicar el tiempo necesario a la solicitud de su licencia para su revisión. El Capítulo 497.167(9) de los Estatutos de la Florida requiere que se complete una solicitud por lo menos 25 días antes de la reunión del comité programada regularmente para ser considerada por el comité en dicha reunión. La Unidad de Licencias tiene fechas límite internas para identificar deficiencias en las solicitudes, procesar las solicitudes completas y presentar las solicitudes para que el comité actúe. El procesamiento de solicitud comienza cuando se recibe la solicitud en la Unidad de Licencias. Todos los requisitos se deben recibir, revisar y resolver dos semanas antes de la próxima reunión del comité. Luego se generan las agendas del comité y todas las solicitudes y documentos procesados se copian y se presentan a sus miembros para la revisión una semana antes de la reunión del comité.

CAMBIO DE NOMBRE En vigencia desde el 1 de enero de 2008, el servicio de evaluaciones de la Florida para la administración de exámenes de licencias para profesionales funerarios ha cambiado su nombre de Promissor a Pearson VUE. Pearson VUE previamente adquirió Promissor y había seguido operando la compañía bajo el nombre adquirido.
